Vehicle Tracking System (VTS)

Vehicle Tracking System (VTS) is a mobile application designed to help businesses monitor and manage their vehicle fleets in real time. The application provides complete visibility into vehicle location, movement, speed, and operational status, enabling organizations to make informed decisions and operate more efficiently.

The client manages a large number of vehicles as part of their business operations and required a reliable, easy-to-use mobile solution to track vehicles online and gain better control over fleet activities.

Fusion Softtech was responsible for the end-to-end mobile application development, covering UI/UX design, application development, API integration, testing, and publishing the app to the Play Store (and iOS-ready architecture).

Technical Implementation

The mobile application was developed using Flutter, enabling a single, unified codebase to support both Android and iOS platforms while ensuring consistent performance and user experience across devices.

The app integrates seamlessly with backend services through secure APIs provided by the client’s system, allowing real-time data synchronization for live vehicle tracking, status updates, and reporting.

Live location tracking was implemented using Google Maps APIs, with careful optimization of map rendering and data refresh mechanisms to support smooth, real-time updates without performance degradation.
